Today's society is in the transition period of industrial technology. To meet the needs of the society and to take into account its own conditions, our department selected the "production automation", "energy conservation, development and management" and "microelectromechanical" as the focus of the development which is set out as national key scientific and technological development projects in "Science and Technology Development Program" by the government.

Micro-nano System Labortary was founded in 2003, the instructor Professor of laboratory is Professor C.T Pan. The main research expertise are MEMS, Mechanical design, MOEMS, Precision manufacturing, OLED, LED lighting design, Design and manufacture of optical diaphragm and Optical design of displayer and solar panel.
