‡ Apparatuses Currently, CECR per se owns a system of Liquid Chromatography-Tandem Mass Spectrometer (LC-MS/MS; 6430 Triple Quadrupole LC/MS System with an Agilent 1290 Infinity UHPLC). In addition to this instrument, CECR members also have many equipment of their own to support CECR’s research and service needs. Important apparatuses include: (1) Gas Chromatography-Mass Spectrometer (GC-MS); (2) Environmental Scanning Electron Microscope (ESEM); (3) Zetasizer Nano ZS (for determinations of particle / molecular size, absolute molecular weight, zeta potential); (4) Inductively Coupled Plasma-Optical Emission Spectrometer (ICP-OES); (5) Simultaneous Electrocoagulation and Electrofiltration Treatment System (for the removal of nanoscale contaminants EDCs, PPCPs, ammonium-nitrogen, and many other environmental contaminants); and (6) Others.
