‡ Brief In 2008 Professor Jentaie Shiea (Department of Chemistry) and Professor Gordon C. C. Yang (Institute of Environmental Engineering) at NYSU decided to come forward to persuade the NSYSU authorities considering the establishment of Center for Emerging Contaminants Research (CECR). After many meetings and presentations, President Hung-DuenYang of NSYSU finally approved the application for the establishment of CECR as a mission-oriented Level 1 research center effective March 23, 2010. At the very beginning, CECR was a completely empty shell without personnel, budget, and research equipment. On April 20, 2010 a budget was allocated by the NSYSU authorities for the procurement of LC-MS/MS. Not until June 8, 2010 Professor Gordon C. C. Yang was appointed as the Director of CECR by the University President.;August, 2017 Professor Yuan-Chung Lin was appointed as the Director of CECR by the University President. ‡ Current Members § Inside Members
