Camoid is a kind of three dimensional cams and it transmits a motion program with two independent parameters to the follower. This thesis applies the theory of envelope about a family of surfaces with two parameters in the space to derive the profile of the camoid. By using the given motion program of the follower and the analytical equations of the camoid profile derived in this study, the desired camoid surface can be determined easily.
