Molecular beam epitaxy (MBE) has been considered an enabling technology for quantum physics, material sciences and various electronic, photonic as well as magnetic devices. MBE Taiwan is intended to provide a forum for researchers from the domestic as well as overseas to exchange information and ideas on the latest MBE technology. This annual workshop was first sponsored by National Sun Yet Sen University, Kaohsiung in 2004. It was sponsored by National Tsing Hua University and Opto-Electronics & Systems Laboratories, Industrial Technology Research Institute, Hsinchu in 2005.
